Da Costa highlights the physical connection between the outer scroll wheel and the Apple Watch Digital Crown. Turning the wheel rotates the Crown; the resulting response depends on the app and watchOS. Selection still uses the touchscreen, and the center disc is decorative.

The 40–46mm RePod C1 Classic versions use precision CNC-machined aluminum alloy. The material and working wheel give the story its hardware focus, while the exposed display preserves the Watch's touch controls.
